Now, that I have mention that I have commenced a search to explore Mexican Architects work; accidentally, today, I was looking through my emails, and from a spam that I had recieved, I found a beautiful building meant to be Japanese restaurant in Mexico City architect Michel Rojkind and industrial designer Hector Esrawe
Michel Rojkind is a Mexican architect and former musician of Russian-Mexican descent From 1987 to 1999, Rojkind was a drummer in Aleks Syntek's band La Gente Normal and studied architecture in Mexico City's Universidad Iberoamericana. After working independently for several years, he established Adria+Broid+Rojkind (1998-2002) with Isaac Broid and Miquel Adria. His work seeks new directions in architectural practice by evoking common identities through the exploration of uncharted geometries that address questions of space, function, technology, materials, structure, and construction methods related directly to geography, climate and local urban experiences. In 2002, he established Rojkind Arquitectos, an independent firm recognized as "one of the best ten Design Vanguard firms" by Architectural Record in 2005.http://www.exmicro.mistral.co.uk/ACUE_www/ACU/biographies.html
